2010 03-24 Bernheim 038Merciful Lord, lead me from the unreal to the Real.

May I never believe that I am this cage of clay.

May the body experience pleasure and suffering as it must, so long as I know who I truly am.

Give me the courage to deny lust and greed and the will to purify my every thought, word, and deed.

May I always remember my Self, my pure and divine Self.

silhouettes-of-people-along-the-coast-watching-the-sunset_w725_h485Lord of all things, Mother of the universe, friend of every soul,

grant me the humility to realize the insignificance of my little self.

May I search every being I encounter and find you dwelling within them.

May I worship you in my every thought, word and deed.

Give me the fortitude to control my scattered mind,

that I may attain the wisdom I need to be of service to all beings.

Give me pure love and devotion for you.

Be near me always.

2013-01-08-(2)-1-3In the shrine of my heart, there are bats and birds roosting in every corner.

There is trash drifting across the floor and dust on everything.

The murti stands in silence under a black sheet.

But how it glimmers through the cloth, like a diamond in the sun, and from the inner sanctum can be heard the small and distant sound of a conch blowing.

Something amazing is about to happen.

Shine, my beautiful Lord.

Peace, peace, peace be unto all.

PeekingI’ll find you eventually.

You can hide behind every eye, every heart. Behind every leaf and tree. You can hid in the water and the air, in the music and the birdsong.

You can hide inside my very thoughts, my very soul.

But I will find you. I will keep digging. I will never stop.

I love you. You are mine. This was meant to be.

Peace, peace, peace be unto all.

SunThere is nothing to cling to.

Indeed, there is no clinging.

There is nothing by which to be repulsed.

Indeed, there is no repulsion.

There is no impurity to cleanse away.

Indeed, there is neither impurity nor purity.

There is no enlightenment to attain.

Indeed, there is no ignorance.

I am not this.

I am not that.

None of these things are in me.

I am in none of these things.

Nothing can hold me.

No one can keep me.

I am not merely free.

I am freedom itself.

And I will proclaim my Self from the tops of the mountains.

I will shout the Truth from the steps of every temple.

I will tell every being that I meet,

“I am divine, my sisters, my brother,

And so you are. And so are you.

For we are One. We are One!

And nothing can stop us now!”

2010 11-10 51I see you everywhere.

You stand tall above us, looming in your majesty,

And you crouch before us in humility.

You are everything and everyone.

How can I call you by one name?

Let me call you by every name,

Serve you in every being,

Love you in every way,

Remember you with every thought.

Peace, peace, peace be unto all.

2010 10-13 LBL 05I am always alone,

For I am always one.

One without a second.

There is nothing in the world but me.

I am the all in all.

I am in all, and all in me.

There is none other.

Just being.

Peace, peace, peace be unto all.
